Production equipment for stator core of axial flux motor

The production of axial flux motor stator cores requires specialized, high-precision equipment to meet its disc-shaped structure and 3D magnetic circuit requirements, ensuring high magnetic conductivity and low energy loss.
The key equipment includes integrated punching-rolling machines, which realize stamping and winding integration. Servo-controlled precision dies punch slots on 0.35–0.5mm silicon steel strips, then wind them into disc cores with accurate tooth alignment, improving production efficiency and core consistency.
For advanced materials like amorphous alloys and soft magnetic composites (SMC), specialized winding machines with tension control and annealing systems are adopted to avoid material damage. Laser welding machines are used to fix laminated cores, preventing loosening during high-speed operation.
In addition, 3D printing equipment enables the fabrication of complex structures and integrated cooling channels, while PCB etching machines support innovative PCB stator cores. This equipment system ensures the stator core’s performance, adapting to applications in EVs, robotics and aerospace.
