Axial flux motor stator core punching and winding integrated machine
Axial flux motors stand out for high power density, compact pancake layout and low core loss, widely adopted in new energy vehicles, eVTOL, robotics and wind power. The axial flux motor stator core punching and winding integrated machine is specialized intelligent equipment developed to solve manufacturing bottlenecks of disc-shaped stators, merging silicon steel punching and continuous core winding into one automatic production unit.
Traditional production separates punching and winding on independent stations. Repeated clamping and material transfer bring positioning deviations, long lead time and heavy manual intervention. This all-in-one machine feeds silicon steel strip continuously, punches stator slots precisely with high-speed die, and synchronously winds the slotted strip into an annular stator core in a single workflow. Supported by closed-loop servo control, it maintains slot dimensional tolerance within ±0.02 mm, eliminates laminated gaps and reduces iron loss and electromagnetic noise of finished stators.
Its servo-driven winding system delivers stable tension control, ensuring uniform stacking consistency. The integrated layout cuts production space, lowers labor cost and improves yield rate significantly. Compared with discrete lines, it shortens the whole process cycle and guarantees consistent electromagnetic performance in mass production.
As axial flux motor industrialization accelerates, this integrated equipment becomes a key enabler for large-scale, low-cost stator manufacturing. It helps motor manufacturers achieve stable mass production of high-performance disc stators, supporting the commercialization of next-generation high-density drive systems.
