Production equipment for disc motor core
Disc motor cores, as key components of axial flux motors, require specialized production equipment to ensure precision, efficiency, and performance. The manufacturing process of these disc-shaped cores relies on integrated and intelligent equipment, which has evolved significantly to meet the growing demand for compact and high-efficiency motors in various industries.
The core production equipment mainly includes punching-winding combined machines, which integrate stamping and winding processes seamlessly. These machines, equipped with PLC control systems and high-precision servo systems, can punch silicon steel strips into tooth-shaped belts and wind them radially to form core components efficiently. Separation dies are crucial parts, splitting iron core strips into two tooth-shaped belts that are then wound by dual winding wheels to produce two core components simultaneously, greatly improving production efficiency.
Advanced equipment features high automation, with functions like failure warning and automatic diagnosis, and can handle silicon steel strips of different thicknesses (up to 0.5mm) with slide strokes up to 300 times per minute. Additional equipment such as laser welding machines and polygon correction tools ensures the core’s structural integrity and dimensional accuracy. These technologies not only enhance material utilization (up to 90% for silicon steel) but also reduce eddy current loss, laying a solid foundation for the excellent performance of disc motors.
